A total of 48 high school confirmation candidates were confirmed on Friday, May 5th at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel (421 Clark Street) in Pueblo. The Most Reverend Stephen Berg, Msgr. Marvin Kapushion, Reverend Joseph Vigil and Reverend Martin Friar were the celebrants for the occasion. With a packed church, confirmation candidates from three parishes took part in the rites. Along with St Joseph's Catholic Church, who had the most students (34) to be confirmed, were candidates from Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church (9) and Saint Aloysius Church (5).
