Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (O.C.I.A.) continues Wednesday, Oct. 29, at 6:30 p.m., in the Maria Lopez classroom.

These classes are led by Deacon Ed Riccillo.

Registration forms are still available through the end of October in the Parish Office during regular business hours.

Next Saturday, November 1, is the Feast of All Saints. We will have mass at 9:00 am for this great day of celebration. It is NOT a Holy Day of Obligation this year. On Sunday, we will be observing the Commemoration of All Souls with the normal schedule.

St. Joseph Catholic Church will be hosting their annual spaghetti dinner on Sunday, Nov. 2, 2025, in the Fr. Charles J. Murray Parish Hall.

This will be the 64th year of this event. So save the date, gather your family and friends and come down to St. Joseph's for the best spaghetti in town!

The Men of Joseph have begun their monthly meetings again! Our next meeting is November 4th at 6:00pm in the Maria Lopez room.

Men of Joseph is welcome to ALL men who want to pray and study together as a fraternity. Please join us as we continue Season 5 of The Chosen!

St. Joseph Catholic Church is taking nominations for new parish council members. When nominating, please include a phone number, as nominees will be contacted to ensure their acceptance of the nomination. We will accept nominations through November 9. At the Saturday evening Mass on Nov. 15, we will draw 3 names from those accepting nomination to serve on the council for a three-year term. The council has been meeting on Tuesdays, five times a year.

The next meeting will be on Nov. 25. Nomination slips will be available on the tables in the Bishop Tafoya Narthex. You are welcome to nominate yourself.

With the upcoming holiday approaching, it’s that time of year to remember those less fortunate. By giving them the assistance they need, each family can have a joyous holiday season!

The St. Joseph Council of Catholic Women (CCW) brings together ALL Catholic women to enhance spiritual growth and develop leadership. We promote the Christian community through fellowship, education, empowering, nurturing, and supporting our members.

Our meetings are held the last Wednesday of each month with the fellowship beginning at 5:30 p.m. and the business meeting at 6:00 p.m.

• The goal is to generate $90,000 in pledges to meet the AMD assessment.
• Current AMD assessmeent is $7522 a month or $90,264 for the year.
• The pledge is in addition to the weekly collection but can be paid weekly, monthly, or one lump payment.
• Please make checks out to St. Joseph Church and write AMD on the memo line of check.
• The parish has not generated the necessary income to cover this expense.
• WE MUST DO IT AGAIN TO FOR THE FINANCIAL STABILITY OF THE CHURCH.
• The churches major fundraisers (Parish Festival and Spaghetti Dinner) are now assisting us in paying this obligation and are no longer available for other activities or needs of the church.

The Chalice for Vocations ministry was developed to promote fervent and devotional prayer for an increase in vocations to the priesthood and religious life. These specific intentions are raised as the chalice travels within the parish community.

A prayer guide is provided and geared for readers that are young or old.  Spontaneous and personal prayers for vocations are always acceptable and welcome also. Please incorporate prayers for an increase in vocations within your prayer life.
