CCW News
The St. Joseph CCW meeting will be held on Wednesday, January 28. Fellowship begins at 5:30 p.m., followed by the business meeting at 6:00 p.m. All Catholic women are invited to attend.
In anticipation of the Super Bowl, you are welcome to wear your favorite team’s jersey, t-shirt, or colors. Please also bring a favorite potluck dish to share.
Please note a change to the burrito sales schedule: the next sale will be held on April 19.
Adult Confirmation Starts February 5
St. Joseph Catholic Church will begin adult confirmation classes at 6:30 p.m. on Thursdays, starting February 5.
These classes will be held by Deacon Ed Riccillo and take place in the Maria Lopez Classroom.

- The goal is to generate $90,000 in pledges to meet the AMD assessment.
- Current AMD assessmeent is $7522 a month or $90,264 for the year.
- The pledge is in addition to the weekly collection but can be paid weekly, monthly, or one lump payment.
- Please make checks out to St. Joseph Church and write AMD on the memo line of check.
- The parish has not generated the necessary income to cover this expense.
- WE MUST DO IT AGAIN TO FOR THE FINANCIAL STABILITY OF THE CHURCH.
- The churches major fundraisers (Parish Festival and Spaghetti Dinner) are now assisting us in paying this obligation and are no longer available for other activities or needs of the church.

Bible Study Class
Our Bible study class will be examining “Foundations of Faith, a Journey through the Catechism of the Catholic Church”.
Come and grow in your knowledge and understanding of Jesus and our Catholic faith through this great study of Sacred Scripture.
To prepare for this week’s class, you may read paragraphs 2558-2696 from the Catechism of the Catholic Church (CCC).
It will help us understand why we believe what we believe and why we do what we do as Catholics, particularly in relation to the Eucharist and other sacraments.

The Chalice for Vocations
The Chalice for Vocations ministry was developed to promote fervent and devotional prayer for an increase in vocations to the priesthood and religious life. These specific intentions are raised as the chalice travels within the parish community.
A prayer guide is provided and geared for readers that are young or old. Spontaneous and personal prayers for vocations are always acceptable and welcome also. Please incorporate prayers for an increase in vocations within your prayer life.

Take Home the Holy Family Shrine
The Knights of Columbus (KOC) of St. Joseph (#9456) have introduced a new program called "The Holy Family"
We are inviting parishioners of any household to consecrate themselves to the Holy Family. Each week the parishioner will take the sanctuary of the Holy Family into their homes for one week of daily prayer. At the end of your week, you will bring back the sanctuary to the church for the next family.
Attention parishioners, those who currently have taken home the Holy Family (Coros Program), please be sure to bring it back to the sacristy on the Saturday/Sunday after you received it so we can present it to another family at the next mass. Thank You!

Our goal is to have a wreath for every one of the 4,000 veterans laid to rest on our sacred grounds by 2026. The plan is to put out a monthly email as a reminder to folks of the phenomenal veterans' history our Grounds hold. In addition, we hope to sponsor 71 fresh balsam wreaths to create a memorial display, a giant wreath, east of the Rose Garden. We have already received $320 from sponsors and need an additional $887 to reach our goal. All sponsors will be acknowledged in the WAA 2026 program.
