On December 15, 2006, Rev. Joseph Vigil became a priest and was ordained by the late Bishop Arthur N. Tafoya. He celebrated his ordination mass with his mother and father, Aurora Vigil y Leyva (mother) and Ramon Juan Jose Vigil y Duran (father) and my bothers and sisters.

One day later (December 16, 2006), Fr. Joseph drove to Santa Fe to celebrate his first Mass at the Cathedral Basilica Of St. Francis in Santa Fe. His first Mass was celebrated on December 17th, Gaudete Sunday!

Fr. Joseph also celebrated Mass in Santa Fe, NM, (as shown in the third picture from the left, below) on the Celebration of Our Lady Of Peace, the Patroness of Santa Fe, the Oldest Statue of Our Lady who came to Santa Fe from Spain in 1626.

Congratulations from all our parishioners at St. Joseph, St. Therese in Vineland and Sacred Heart in Avondale to Fr. Joseph on his anniversary -- 15 years as a priest! God Bless you and we love you!

Apprecation Dinner Thank You!

Dear Parishioners!

This past Saturday evening (Oct. 13, 2018) was a great surprise for me! I was overwhelmed as I walked into the Parish Hall. I’m very grateful for all your support and love and prayers. THANK YOU all!!! St. Joseph Parish is blessed community.

It is the people that make the Parish come alive with God’s Grace and Guidance. I am blessed to be your priest and pastor. These last six years have been a great gift for me. We continue to work and to build our parish community. I’m a firm believer in our patron saint, St. Joseph for his intercession on all of us.

I’m grateful to all of you who organized and put together this beautiful evening! Thank you! May God Bless you and know that I love you all!!
