The 122nd Knights of Columbus Colorado State Convention is coming April 26-28, 2024. The event will be held at The Antler's Hotel, in Colorado Springs (4 S. Cascade Avenue).
Original Olive Wood Handicrafts from Bethlehem Handicrafts along with Mike Bannoura will be at all masses the weekend of April 27-28, 2024, at St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Bethlehem Handicrafts continues to provide a platform for the Christian artists of Bethlehem to showcase their beautiful olive wood figurines in these unprecedented times. Amid this storm, our courage and faith has only grown stronger as we continue to fulfil our mission of bringing a part of the Holy Land to your homes, thus giving a helping hand to those Christian artists & their families.
With absolutely no tourists allowed in the Holy Land since March of 2020, the majority Christian families have not made any income. We have taken it upon ourselves to do whatever it takes to make these unprecedented times seem less painful to our Christian families back home, to give them the courage and belief that, even in the most difficult of times, we will all prevail and pass through this together.

The Knights of Columbus (KOC) of St. Joseph (#9456) have introduced a new program called "The Holy Family"
We are inviting parishioners of any household to consecrate themselves to the Holy Family. Each week the parishioner will take the sanctuary of the Holy Family into their homes for one week of daily prayer. At the end of your week, you will bring back the sanctuary to the church for the next family.

Holy Family Testimonial:
"I have had the opportunity to take the Holy Family into my home three times. I can't even begin to express the extra peace and love that is felt with the Holy Family displayed in my family room. The prayers that are given with it are beautiful. This past Thanksgiving, I had it, and as we prayed before our meal, I included the dedication of my family to the protection of the Holy Family as part of our grace. I feel that if others could sense the love coming from the Holy Family display, people would be lining up to take it into their homes." -- Karen DeCarlo
"Having the Holy Family in your home is a great way to reflect on the love of family and pray for everyone in your lives in a concentrated effort. It is a beautiful way to start your day and/or a peaceful way to end the day. The time you take for prayer and reflection is a precious gift from the Holy Family. I encourage everyone to take the opportunity to invite the Holy Family into their home and into their lives. You will want to do it on a regular basis because of the peace it brings into your life and home." -- Terrie Tafoya
The Chalice for Vocations ministry was developed to promote fervent and devotional prayer for an increase in vocations to the priesthood and religious life. These specific intentions are raised as the chalice travels within the parish community.
A prayer guide is provided and geared for readers that are young or old. Spontaneous and personal prayers for vocations are always acceptable and welcome also. Please incorporate prayers for an increase in vocations within your prayer life.
If you would like to receive the Chalice for Vocations for a week, please contact the parish office at 719-544-1886. Thank you. Be confident that your prayers are heard.
'In the name of God, stop this massacre': Pope Francis on Ukraine The following video is courtesy of The Guardian
Dear Parishioners,
As a Community of St. Joseph, we are devastated by the recent events in Ukraine. Let us join the world in prayer. We turn to God for guidance and direction, and prayer that you look over the people of Ukraine. Give them strength and courage during this difficult time. We pray to you, oh God, for peace and a resolution to this conflict.
We pray for all the people of the Ukraine and we ask Our Blessed Mother and St. Joseph and St. Michael for Intercessions!
A PRAYER FOR UKRAINE From the Congregation of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet
O Prince of Peace, We pray for the people of Ukraine this day. May conflict cease and peace be restored. May those in power soon find ways of peace. God of peacemakers Teach us the ways of peace. Come and show us how to beat our swords into plowshares, tools of life instead of instruments of fear. Strip us of all strategies of conquest, Make our hearts alive to your movement toward peace with our dear neighbor. We pray for the people of Ukraine this day. Amen.
Bible Verse for Today
So the Jews gathered around him and said to him, “How long are you going to keep us in suspense? If you are the Christ, tell us plainly.” Jesus answered them, “I told you and you do not believe. The works I do in my Father’s name testify to me. But you do not believe, because you are not among my sheep.
– John 10:22-30
