THEOLOGY OF THE BELLS
The Bells are a reminder of the Presence of God in our lives.

THE RINGING OF THE BELLS OF ST. JOSEPH

  1. The Smallest Bell is rung first which is dedicated to the Blessed Virgin . Mary, the Mother of God (Ring Bell 4 times first)
  2. The ringing 2nd Bell (2nd Level) follows which is dedicated to St. Joseph (Ring Bell 4 times first.)
  3. Finally, the Largest Bell (top floor) is rung which is dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.



Total Rings for Bells is 4 minutes before Masses.

Satuday (Mass at 4:30 p.m.)
BELLS RING AT 4:00 p.m. and 4:20 p.m., and then after Mass

Sunday (Mass at 7:30 a.m.)
BELLS RING AT 7:00 a.m. and 7:20 a.m., and then after Mass

Sunday (Mass at 9:00 a.m.)
BELLS RING AT 8:30 a.m. and 8:50 a.m., and then after Mass

Sunday (Mass at 11:00 a.m.)
BELLS RING AT 10:30 a.m. and 10:50 a.m., and then after Mass

BELLS ARE ALSO RUNG BEFORE AND AFTER FUNERAL MASSES AND WEDDING MASSES.

Quinceanera Information

If you are planning a Quinceañera, the requirements are:

  • The young lady must be registered in Religious Ed and must have attended classes the year prior.
  • Must attend class with Maria Cornejo with an explanation of what the Quinceañera celebration is about
