The photos below are from the St. Joseph Catholic Church Vacation Bible School (VBS) that was last held June 19-23, 2023. The summer event attracted 55 kids Pre-K to 5th grade, 30 volunteers and 15 adults for supervision. The half-day (8 a.m. to 12 p.m.) bible school was held at the Fr. Charles J. Murray Parish Hall and the Religious Education Center.

This was the first VBS since June of 2019, due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the first one since the passing of long-time religious education and VBS coordinator, Maria Lopez.

Thank you to everyone who donated any of their time, treasures or kindness to help make VBS a huge success this year. Thank you to all volunteers who helped throughout the week. A BIG shout out to Christine Steele for all her hard work to make VBS happen once again.

Finally, thanks to Chris and her daughter Sarah Steele for taking the pictures as well as Liz Chapman for capturing Fr. Steve coming down the water slide!
